Rachel concentrates her practice on representing insurer clients in litigation, with a specific focus on long-term care and professional liability matters.
Before joining Cozen O'Connor, Rachel was an associate with a full-service law firm, where she focused her practice on representing medical malpractice insurers, large hospital systems, and physician groups in healthcare litigation and medical professional liability matters. She also assisted clients in developing risk mitigation strategies, tools, and policies to reduce adverse events. Rachel also clerked for the Honorable Judge Renee Cohn Jubelirer of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court, where she drafted memoranda and opinions and assisted with preparation for court proceedings.
Rachel earned her B.A., magna cum laude, from Susquehanna University and her J.D., with a certificate in Health Law, from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where she was the editor-in-chief of the Pittsburgh Journal of Technology Law & Policy.
