Samuel advises and represents clients in a broad range of insurance coverage and commercial litigation matters, including commercial general liability, property damage, property liability, and personal injury. He assists clients in evaluating the legal and factual issues in first-party and third-party insurance coverage disputes, including interpreting policy provisions. He also defends clients in complex litigation in federal and state courts.
Before joining Cozen O'Connor, Samuel was a litigation associate with a law firm based in Atlanta. As an associate, he handled a wide variety of civil litigation matters, including representing domestic and international insurers in coverage disputes and construction defect claims and defending insureds against personal injury and property damage claims. He has additional experience in complex corporate matters, liability defense, real estate, and contractual disputes.
Samuel earned his B.A., magna cum laude, from Oglethorpe University and his J.D., cum laude, from the Mercer University of Law, where he was the editor-in-chief of the Mercer University Law Review.
