Matt focuses his practice on civil defense in the firm’s Global Insurance Department. He has extensive experience in all aspects of civil litigation, including construction, personal injury, premises liability, and product defects.
Prior to joining Cozen O'Connor, Matt worked as a litigation associate for a boutique law firm with a concentration in civil defense litigation and trial practice. Before graduating from law school, Matt served as a judicial intern in the U.S. District Court and a narcotics/asset forfeiture intern for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office.
Matt earned his J.D. in 2015 from Boston College Law School, where he was a member of the Frederick Douglass Moot Court team and a member of the Eagle-to-Eagle Mentoring Program. He was also a legal fellow for Boston College's Office of Technology Transfer and Licensing. He received his B.A. in English and history from Fordham University's honors program in 2012.
