Elizabeth is a strategic, self-driven associate who focuses her practice on insurance. She has experience drafting dispositive motions, briefs, and discovery responses for clients and attending hearings, inspections, depositions, and mediations on their behalf.
Prior to joining the firm, Elizabeth worked as an associate at a boutique litigation firm in Dallas, handling cases from school law to premises liability. She interned for a breast cancer organization, a scouting/youth organization, and a Dallas-based litigation firm, gaining experience in policy review, trademark licensing, and COVID-19 legislation updates. Elizabeth has presented at national conferences, drafted litigation plans, and co-authored published works.
She completed an externship with a Texas law firm, focusing on litigation and bankruptcy cases, and presented on Chapter 53 Liens of the Texas Property Code. Elizabeth also served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Marcia Crone and the Honorable Maricela Moore. Additionally, she worked as a legal researcher for an insurance firm, drafting legal memoranda and building case summaries around complex medical histories.
Elizabeth is an active member of several bar associations. She is a co-chair for the Pipeline Subcommittee of the Equality Committee of the Dallas Bar Association. She is also an active member of the Latina Leadership Committee for the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association (DHBA). In 2024, Elizabeth was awarded Volunteer of the Year by the Dallas Hispanic Bar Association for her contributions and service to the DHBA. She is also a member of the Dallas Insurance Inn of Court. Additionally, Elizabeth works with Texas Lawyers for Children where she does pro bono work as an Educational Advocate. Outside of the law, Elizabeth is active in the American Jewish Congress (AJC), and is a co-chair for the AJC's 2025 Dallas Jewish-Latino Alliance.
Elizabeth earned her J.D. in 2022 from Texas A&M University School of Law, where she was president of the Women Law Students Association and VP of the Women of Color Collective. She graduated with honors from the University of Chicago in 2015, where she received her B.A. in political science.
Elizabeth is multilingual, with full professional proficiency in Spanish and professional working proficiency in Portuguese. She has translated documents from Spanish to English and worked as a translator for international grant applications in Brazil with Argilando. She was also a policy intern for a member of Parliament in Sri Lanka. Before completing her J.D., Elizabeth was a middle school ESL and bilingual teacher. Outside of practicing law, she enjoys global literature, embroidery, working out, and gluten-free baking.
