Lindsay is a real estate finance attorney who represents national and community banks, real estate investment trusts, debt funds, and other institutions in significant lending transactions secured by commercial real estate assets.
Her practice is notably broad. Lindsay is equally experienced with handling commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS), loan obligations (CLOs), balance sheet loans, and construction loans; working with diverse asset classes (office, retail, industrial, student housing, and hotel); and advising on cutting-edge financial instruments as well as entitlements, construction, and corporate structure. She works closely with lenders, developers, and investors to secure funding for large-scale development and construction projects. She brings a deep understanding of real estate law and finance to every project and is backed by the firm’s full-service capabilities in tax, land use and zoning, environmental, and construction law.
Lindsay routinely handles transactions ranging in value from tens of millions to hundreds of millions of dollars. She recently represented a global financial services firm in a $450 million CMBS loan secured by a class-A office building in Washington D.C.; a $160 million CMBS loan secured by a retail and multifamily tower in Chicago; an owner, developer, operator in connection with the acquisition and financing of a warehouse property in Texas; and Safehold, a publicly traded company and pioneer in national ground leasing, in an $88 million leaseback of an office tower in Denver.

Lindsay received her bachelor's degree from Emory University and earned her law degree from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, cum laude, with a concentration in commercial law.
