Ethan focuses his practice on complex coverage disputes in the directors and officers, professional liability, and commercial general liability contexts. He has extensive experience handling all aspects of coverage disputes and claims management from inception through litigation, including discovery, dispositive motions, mediation, and settlement. He has represented insurers in a number of high-exposure cases in connection with Delaware appraisal petitions, product liability class actions, bankruptcy proceedings, and coverage for governmental investigations.
Ethan began his legal career at Cozen O’Connor in 2016 as a summer associate. He received his J.D., order of the coif, from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law and Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from New York University, College of Arts and Sciences. While at Cardozo Law, Ethan was a member of the Cardozo Law Review and a Distinguished Dean’s Scholar. Ethan also served as an intern for the Honorable Nicholas Garaufis of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of New York and the Honorable Robert Stolz of the New York Supreme Court.
