As the number of New Yorkers eligible to receive the vaccine continues to grow, Leni Cummins addresses whether condo and co-op boards discussions on mandating that building workers be inoculated is within a board’s rights in The Real Deal. Leni notes that not only do boards have the legal right to do so, she has begun drafting such policies for some clients.

When considering policies for employees and others for third-party contractors, Leni indicates that building must make accommodations for employees who do not choose to get vaccines due to medical conditions or religious beliefs.
