E-Bike Fires Spark Demands For Bans From Landlords, Condo Boards

In the article, Leni discusses what this means for condominium and cooperative boards and property owners. Research shows that e-bike sales increased by 145% during the pandemic and have caused serious safety concerns.

Boards are having discussions on banning or strictly regulating electronic vehicles but finding a way to ensure residents obey the rules may be a problem.

“A ban is only as good as the enforcement,” Leni stated.
