Chatrani (Sereena) Ramprashad

Sereena focuses her practice on real estate matters, bringing a wealth of experience in representing clients throughout all phases of litigation. Her experience encompasses HPD violations, property management, non-payment disputes, and evictions. Sereena is skilled in drafting legal complaints, answers, memoranda, briefs, motions, and other essential legal documents. She is also proficient in case preparation, including due diligence, exhibit management, and supporting documentation. 

Before joining Cozen O'Connor, Sereena served as an associate at a boutique law firm in New York City where she focused on landlord-tenant litigation. Additionally, she contributed as a research assistant and editor for Friedman on Leases, published by Practising Law Institute (PLI). Sereena earned her B.A., cum laude, from the University at Albany (State University of New York) and her J.D. from New York Law School. During her studies, she interned with New York Law School's Nonprofit and Small Business Clinic, where she supported nonprofits and small businesses with entity formation, operating agreements, and tax issues. Sereena's dedication and achievements in real estate have been recognized with her selection as a WX Scholar in the esteemed WX - New York Women Executives in Real Estate Scholar's Program.
