Dan represents clients in all aspects of civil litigation. He focuses his practice on matters involving construction and labor law, premises liability, product liability, and catastrophic injury claims. Dan represents building owners and major construction companies in the defense of construction defect, environmental pollution, and property damage claims and represents corporations, municipalities, and building owners and managers in the defense of casualty claims arising from various toxic exposures. He also handles commercial litigation and professional malpractice cases and will assist with life sciences and medical device defense litigation.
Dan has experience representing condominiums and cooperative boards, shareholders, and managing agents in matters ranging from noise disputes and discrimination claims to matters centered on the application of the business judgment rule. He has represented contractors and boards in a wide variety of construction defect cases.

He has successfully represented clients in complex and high exposure cases and has obtained successful results at both the trial and appellate levels.
Dan is active in the Defense Association of New York and the New York State Bar Association.
Dan earned his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his undergraduate degree in history from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
